Stagecoach Vineyard
Located in Atlas Peak, the prestigious Stagecoach rests on the southern face of Pritchard Hill adjoining Eastern Oakville from an elevation of 900’ climbing to over 1700’. It boasts a collection of the best selections and clones of Cabernet Sauvignon in California. Cool fog rolls off the hills each morning during the summer and the sun shines on the vines for most of each day. This combination of cool nights and lengthy warm days allows for great complexity.
Howell Mountain AVA
Howell Mountain, a prestigious AVA perched high above Napa Valley, stands tall at elevations ranging from 1,400 to 2,200 feet. This exceptional winegrowing region is celebrated for its well-drained, volcanic soils and unique microclimate, providing a remarkable terroir for cultivating world-class Cabernet Sauvignon and other Bordeaux varietals. With its elevation, Howell Mountain benefits from cooler temperatures and increased sun exposure compared to the valley floor, resulting in grapes with intense flavor concentration, robust tannins, and impressive structure. The region’s diurnal temperature swings, characterized by warm days and cool nights, contribute to the development of exceptional fruit complexity and balanced acidity in the wines. At Levendi Winery, we take great pride in sourcing our grapes from Howell Mountain, capturing the bold character and sophistication that this distinguished AVA has to offer.
Coombsville AVA
Nestled in the southeastern corner of Napa Valley, the Coombsville AVA is a hidden gem known for its moderate climate and volcanic, alluvial soils. This unique combination fosters the growth of not only exceptional Cabernet Sauvignon, but also a variety of other high-quality grape varieties. Protected by the surrounding hillsides, Coombsville experiences a gentle cooling influence from the San Pablo Bay, which allows for a longer growing season and the slow, steady ripening of the grapes. This results in wines with remarkable balance, refined tannins, and complex flavor profiles. Levendi Winery is honored to source grapes from Coombsville, capturing the distinctive essence of this extraordinary region in our wines.
